We would love for you to get Involved
Committed to safety, accessibility and community partnership in pursuit of road equity for all
Every year, Donate 2 Drive supports hundreds of Victorians who cannot afford driving lessons. Our volunteer mentors help learners build confidence, independence, and safer driving habits but demand for our program continues to grow.
If you’d like to make a meaningful impact in someone’s life, here are ways you can get involved today.
Our Two Most Important Ways You Can Help
1
Become a Volunteer Mentor Driver
Our volunteers are the heart of D2D. With just a full licence and a little spare time each week, you can:
-
Change someone’s life by helping them reach 120 hours
-
Build their confidence, safety skills, and independence
-
Strengthen your local community
-
Receive full training, support, and everything you need
No teaching experience required just patience, kindness, and a willingness to help.

More Ways You Can Help

Contribute Your Skills
You don’t need to drive to make a difference.
We welcome people who can help with:
- Administration or bookings support
- Fundraising and community outreach
- Social media or digital content
- Grant writing
- Event support for expos or community days
If you have a skill, we can use it.
Become a Community Connector
Many of our biggest breakthroughs have come from supporters who introduced us to:
- Local businesses
- Schools and neighbourhood houses
- Foundations and philanthropic programs
- Councils
- Community groups
If you can introduce D2D to someone who cares about road safety, youth empowerment, or migrant support, that’s invaluable.
